Herbology
The initial herbal consultation consists of a 45 minute interview followed by the preparation and administration of an herbal formula. Follow-up treatments typically last 20 minutes. Mountain Sports Acupuncture offers three forms of herbal medicine, either bulk tea, granules or patent pills. An herbal consultation can be offered as an adjunctive service to an acupupuncture or Tuina service, or it can be utilized as stand-alone therapy. Herbal medicine has a rich history of powerful healing not only in China but also throughout the world; it is the primary form of healthcare worldwide.
